Communications and Donor Relations Coordinator
Reports to: Board President – Position Open Until Filled
Job Summary:
Tsering’s Fund is a not-for-profit organization committed to protecting and empowering vulnerable children in rural Nepal by eliminating child sex trafficking and reducing early marriage for girls. The organization achieves this mission by expanding access to education, improving school infrastructure and enhancing student and community well-being in targeted regions of a country that continues to deprioritize the needs of its young girls. Since our founding in 2007, we’ve built trusting partnerships in Nepal and together with rural schools, orphanages and health care facilities, we’ve already improved the lives of more than 500 children. Tsering’s Fund’s board of directors is proud of that legacy of service, but we believe our work is far from done.
With a deep understanding of the social and economic challenges that Nepali children—especially girls—face, Tsering’s Fund seeks to grow its ability to provide direct and sustainable solutions that break cycles of poverty and exploitation. Toward that end, we’re actively recruiting a new, self-motivated team member to help us strengthen our communications, donor stewardship and other administrative functions.
Reporting to the board president and working closely with other board members, our part-time Communications and Donor Relations Coordinator will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with existing and potential donors, consistently communicating with supporters to bolster their understanding of Tsering’s Fund’s priorities and impact.
